Review by Discovery Networks, Asia Pacific: “Borneo is one of the world’s most fascinating and stunning destinations. It has a tremendous pull for film-makers and adventurers and it’s no surprise that at Discovery we have featured many aspects of this wonderful place.
What is so special about Martin & Osa Johnson’s Spirit of Borneo: The Journey 1920 & 1935, is that it not only provides a stunning visual perspective of Borneo in the early part of the last century, but also an amazing insight into documentary film-making in that era.”
Spirit of Borneo was gifted by Chief Minister Musa Aman to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate on 14th Sep, 2012; and by Catherine Jayasuriya and son to President Barack H. Obama at the White House.
